| dc.description.abstract | Bu araştırmanın amacı fen eğitiminde öğrencilerin proje üretme ve geliştirme becerisini arttırmaya yönelik Proje Tabanlı Öğrenme yaklaşımıyla uygulanan bilimsel içerikli çocuk programı ve çocuk dergilerinin etkisini incelemektir. Araştırma nitel araştırma metodolojisinde olup, eylem araştırması deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, 2015-2016 Eğitim Öğretim yılı Aksaray ili Bağlı İlkokulu'nda okuyan dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın verilerini elde etmek için gözlem, görüşme, anket formu ve günlükler kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin yaptıkları projeler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Proje Değerlendirme Derecelendirme Ölçeği kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler analiz edildiğinde, öğrencilerin projeye ilişkin kavramsal bilgilerinin proje tabanlı öğrenme yöntemi ile geliştirilebileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca öğrenciler proje tabanlı öğrenme yönteminin kullanıldığı etkinlikler süresince edindikleri birçok bilginin yanı sıra araştırma yapmayı da öğrenmişlerdir. Proje tabanlı öğrenme yöntemi kullanılarak öğrencilerin fikir üretme becerilerinin geliştiği görülmüştür. Öğrenciler proje tabanlı öğrenme yönteminin kullanıldığı fen derslerinin daha eğlenceli olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Proje tabanlı öğrenme yönteminin kullanıldığı etkinliklerde öğrencilerin malzeme eksikliği, estetik olmasına uğraşılması, proje fikri geliştirememe gibi durumlardan dolayı zorlandıkları ortaya çıkmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra proje yapım sürecinde öğrencilerin aile büyüklerinden yardım aldıkları bulgusuna da ulaşılmıştır. Proje değerlendirmelerinde kullanılan Derecelendirme Ölçeği sonuçlarına göre; bilimsel süreç becerileri, özgün ürün geliştirme, ürünlerini günlük hayat ile ilişkilendirme gibi yönlerden öğrencilerin gelişim gösterdiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak proje tabanlı öğrenme yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilen etkinliklerde çocuk programı ve çocuk dergisi kullanımının proje üretme ve geliştirme becerilerini arttırması adına etkili bir yol olduğu belirlenmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the research is to investigate the effects of Scientific Programs and magazines for Children applied through Project-Based Learning to increase students' ability to produce and develop projects in science education. The research is in the Qualitative Research Methodology and the Action Research Design was used. Research was conducted with the participation of the students of the 4th grade at Aksaray Bağlı Primary School in the 2015 - 2016 academic year. To obtain the data of the research; interviews, observation, diaries and questionnaire form were used. Data collection tools were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The students' projects were evaluated using the rating scale developed by the researcher. When the data obtained in the study were analyzed, it was concluded that students' conceptual knowledge related to a project could be developed by the PBL Method. Moreover, students learnt to do a research in addition to the gains and knowledge they obtained during the activities of the project-based learning method. Students could produce ideas by using project-based learning methodology. Students expressed that the science courses using the Project-Based Learning Methods were more enjoyable. It was revealed that students had some difficulties in activities using Project-Based Learning due to lack of materials and the idea for project development, and an effort for aesthetics. Besides, it was also revealed that the students got help from the family elders during the project design process. According to the results of project evaluation, it was emerged that students advanced in terms of scientific process abilities, development of original product, and linking their products with daily life. As a result, it has been determined that scientific programs and magazine for children use in activities organized through Project-Based Learning Method is an effective way of increasing project design and development abilities. | en_US |
