Özet
Türkçe dersinin temel malzemesi olan metinler, işlevsel dil bilgisi öğretiminin vazgeçilmez unsurudur.
Metinlerden hareketle uygulanan dil bilgisi öğretimi, dil bilgisi kurallarının ezberlenmesinden ziyade
sezdirilmesine zemin hazırlamaktadır. Söz konusu bu metinlerin öğrencilerle buluşturulmasında ise çocuk
edebiyatı, Türkçe öğretmenlerine yol gösterici nitelikte katkı sağlamaktadır. Türkçe derslerinde çocuk edebiyatı
ürünlerinden yararlanmaya yönelik tasarlanan bu araştırma, çocuk edebiyatı ve dil bilgisi öğretimini birlikte ele
alarak yeni bakış açısı geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Bu araştırmanın amacı, çocuk edebiyatı ürünleriyle planlanan dil bilgisi öğretiminin ortaokul 6. sınıf
öğrencilerinin dil bilgisi başarısına etkisini ve uygulanan yönteme dair öğrenci görüşlerini incelemektir.
Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri toplama
sürecinde 6. sınıf dil bilgisi konu ve kazanımlarıyla birlikte dil bilgisi başarı testi, deney ve kontrol grubuna ön
test ve son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada uygulanan yönteme dair öğrencilere yarı yapılandırılmış
görüşme formu uygulanmıştır.
Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim ve öğretim yılında Antalya ili Alanya ilçesinde iki
devlet okulunda öğrenim gören 72 öğrenci (36 öğrenci deney grubu, 36 öğrenci kontrol grubu) oluşturmaktadır.
Deney grubu öğrencilerine dil bilgisi konuları; öğrencilerin belirlediği çocuk edebiyatı ürünleri ve bunlara
yönelik olarak araştırmacı tarafından ADDIE modeline göre tasarlanan okuma yönergeleri ile sunulmuştur.
Kontrol grubu öğrencileri ise Türkçe ders kitabındaki etkinliklerle sürece devam etmiştir. Araştırmada elde
edilen nicel veriler IBM SPSS Statistics 26 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme
forumuna ait veriler ise içerik analizi yaklaşımıyla değerlendirilmiştir.
Araştırmanın sonucunda deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin son test puan sonuçlarında deney grubu
lehine anlamlı fark tespit edildiği için çocuk edebiyatı ürünlerinin ortaokul 6. sınıf dil bilgisi öğretiminde
başarıyı artırdığına ulaşılmıştır. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formundan elde edilen sonuçlara göre öğrenciler;
dil bilgisi öğretiminde çocuk edebiyatı ürünlerinin kullanılmasını eğlenceli, etkili ve kalıcı öğrenme açısından
olumlu karşılamıştır. Öğrenciler, araştırmada uygulanan yöntemin okuma becerilerine katkısı olduğunu
vurgulamış ve yöntemin uygulanmasında en çok zorlandıkları kısmın zaman yönetimi olduğunu belirtmiştir.
Buna ek olarak öğrenciler, çocuk edebiyatı ürünlerinin Türkçe dersiyle birlikte diğer derslerin içerisinde de
kullanılmasına olumlu yaklaşmaktadır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarından hareketle program hazırlayıcılara,
öğretmenlere ve araştırmacılara çeşitli öneriler sunulmuştur.
The texts, which are the basic material of the Turkish course, are an indispensable element of functional grammar teaching. Grammar teaching, which is applied based on texts, lays the groundwork for perceiving grammar rules rather than memorizing them. In bringing these texts together with students, children's literature provides a guiding contribution to Turkish teachers. This research, which is designed to benefit from children's literature products in Turkish lessons, aims to develop a new perspective by considering children's literature and grammar teaching together. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of grammar teaching planned with children's literature products on the success of secondary school 6th grade students and students' views on the method applied. A quasi-experimental design from quantitative research methods was used, In the study. In the data collection process of the research, the grammar achievement test, together with the 6th grade grammar topics and acquisitions, was applied to the experimental and control groups as a pre-test and post-test. A semi-structured interview form was applied to the students regarding the method applied in the research. The study group of the research consists of 72 students (36 students in the experimental group, 36 students in the control group) studying in two public schools in the Alanya province of Antalya in the 2021-2022 academic year. Grammar topics for the experimental group students; The children's literature products determined by the students and the reading instructions designed by the researcher according to the ADDIE model were presented. The control group students continued the process with the activities in the Turkish textbook. The quantitative data obtained in the research were analyzed with the IBM SPPS Statistics 26 package program. The data of the semi-structured interview form were analysed by content analysis approach. As a result of the research, it was concluded that children's literature products increased the success in 6th grade grammar teaching, since there was a significant difference in the post-test score results of the experimental and control group students in favor of the experimental group. According to the results obtained from the semi-structured interview form, students; found the use of children's literature products in grammar teaching positively in terms of fun, effective and permanent learning. The students emphasized that the method applied in the study contributed to their reading skills and stated that the most difficult part of the application of the method was time management. In addition, students have a positive attitude towards the use of children's literature products in Turkish lessons as well as in other lessons. Based on the results of the research, various suggestions were presented to program preparers, teachers and researchers.
