dc.description.abstractAraştırmanın muhtevası; Türk basın hayatında önemli bir yer teşkil eden gazeteci kardeşler; Mehmet Asım, Hakkı Tarık ve Hasan Rasim Us'tur. Onların Türk modernleşmesine katkıları sahibi oldukları Vakit gazetesi vasıtasıyla olmuştur. Vakit gazetesinde tanıklık ettikleri önemli olayları neşrettikleri fikir yazıları mercek altına almaya çalışmışlardır. Araştırma üç bölümden müteşekkildir. Araştırmanın ilk bölümünde; Gazeteci Us kardeşlerin hayatı, eserleri ve basın alanında katkıları incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci bölümünde Türk modernleşmesinin ilk safhası olan Osmanlı modernleşmesi genel bir çerçevede tetkik edilmiştir. Araştırmanın son bölümünde Türk modernleşmesinin ikinci safhası olan Cumhuriyet modernleşmesinde yaşanan değişimlere ve gelişmelere tanıklık etmiş olan Us ailesinin söylemleri ve fikir yazılarıyla analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe subject of this study is Mehmet Asım, Hakkı Tarık Hasan Rasim Us, The journalist brothers, who had an important place in the history of Turkish journalism. They published the Vakit newspaper whose their contributions to Turkish modernization. They tried to observe higlights of their day with the articles they wrote in the Vakit newspaper.The study is consists of three chapters. In the first chapter of the study were examined the life of Journalist Us Family, theirs works and theirs contributions in the field of the journalism. In the third chapter of the study, Ottoman modernization, which is the first stage of Turkish modernization, was analyzed in a general framework. In last chapter of the study were scrutinized their views and discourses of the Journalist Us family who witnessed the changes and developments of Republic modernization that is the second stage of Turkish modernization.en_US
