Özet
Mezarlıklar sadece ölülerin defnedildiği ve huzur içinde yattıkları
temenni edilen mekânlar değildir. Bundan daha fazla olarak mezarlıklar,
içinde bulundukları sessizliğe rağmen, tarihin Ģahididirler. ÇalıĢma konumuz
olan Bülbüldere ve Feriköy Mezarlıkları da bir asrı aĢkın geçmiĢiyle
ziyaretçilerine bir Ģeyler söylemekte ve söyledikleriyle tarihe not
düĢmektedirler. Her iki mezarlıkta bulunan mezar taĢları, burada medfun
olanların, içinde bulundukları topluma dinen ve milliyeten ait olmadıklarını,
bu topraklara yabancı olduklarını, ihsas etmektedirler. Bu mezarlıkların
Dönmelere ait olan kısmının sakinleri hem Müslüman ve hem de Türk
değillerdir. Ancak bu durumu, kitabeleri yakından inceleyenler
görebilmektedirler. Bu maĢatlıkların sessiz sakinleri, Yahudilikten dönme
Sabetay Sevi'nin müntesipleridirler. 350 sene evvel Ģeklen Yahudilikten
dönmüĢ olan bu insanlar, özden bir dönüĢ yapmadıkları için "mühtedi" değil
"Dönme" olarak nitelendirilmiĢ ve bu Ģekilde tesmiye edilmiĢlerdir. Bu
çalıĢmada, Dönme zümresinin tarihi arka planı, an‟âne, gelenek ve itikatları
incelenip, bu zümrenin Tük toplumu üzerindeki etkilerinin neler olduğu
değerlendirilmeye çalıĢılmıĢtır.
Cemeteries are not just places where the dead are buried and one wishes to rest in peace. More than that, cemeteries, despite their silence, are witnesses to history. Bülbüldere and Feriköy Cemeteries, which are our subjects of study, also tell their visitors something with a history of more than a century and make a note in history with what they say. The tombstones found in both cemeteries denote that those buried here do not belong to the society they live in religiously and nationally, and that they are strangers to these lands, even if not openly. The inhabitants of the part of these cemeteries that belong to the Dönmes are not both Muslim and Turkish. However, those who closely examine the inscriptions can see this situation. The silent residents of these maĢatlıks are the followers of Sabetay Sevi, a renegade from Judaism. These people, who had formally converted from Judaism 350 years ago, were described as "converts", not "apostasy" because they did not make a return from the essence, and they were recognized as such. In this study, the historical background, moment, traditions and beliefs of the Dönme group were examined and the effects of this group on the Turkish society were tried to be evaluated.
