| dc.description.abstract | Metaforlar bir olgunun kavram sistemimizdeki anlamını, yapısını ve özünü tespit etmek suretiyle o olguya ilişkin bireysel ve kültürel tecrübelerimizi açığa çıkaran bir nevi akıl yürütme sanatıdır. Metaforik üretimler sadece dilin sorunu değildir, onlar kendimizi, hayatı ve ötekini yeniden anlamlandırma vasıtasıdır. Bunu da tecrübelerimizin şekillendirdiği bilinçaltı duygu ve düşüncelerimizi gün yüzüne çıkarıp, o olguyu yeniden inşa etmemizi sağlayarak gerçekleştirir. Son zamanlarda psikoloji, sosyoloji, edebiyat ve dil bilim gibi pek çok disiplinde etkili bir veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılan metaforlar, eğitim bilimlerinde de yaygın olarak kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada öğrencilerin sözlü kültür ürünlerinden masala yönelik öğrenci algılarını metaforlar aracılığıyla tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç çerçevesinde ana dili Türkçe olan lise ve ortaokul öğrencileri ile ana dili Türkçe olmayan yabancı uyruklu lise ve ortaokul öğrencilerinin "masal" kavramına yönelik ürettikleri metaforlar, öğrencilerin gerekçelerine göre kavramsal kategorilere ayrılmış ve algıların, katılımcı türüne göre farklı ve benzer noktalarına temas edilmiştir. Araştırmada verilerin toplanması, analizi ve yorumlanmasında nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi, MAXQDA programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılında Konya il merkezinde bulunan bir imam-hatip ortaokulu ve bir Anadolu lisesi ile uluslararası bir imam-hatip lisesinde eğitim gören 430 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilere "Masal..........gibidir. Çünkü.........." ifadesinin geçtiği bir form dağıtılmıştır. Toplanan verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Oluşturulan kavramsal kategoriler vasıtasıyla edilen bulgulara göre masalın, öğrencilerin bireysel ve kültürel kimlik kazanmalarını sağlayan, karakter inşasında önemli rol oynayan, duygusal ve ruhsal ihtiyaçlarını karşılayan, edebi estetik zevki kazandıran, hayatın gerçeklerini düşsel bir dünya içinde sunan eğlenceli bir eğitim kaynağı olduğu öğrenci algılarında tespit edilmiş ve masal türü ile öğrencilerin buluşmasında gerek ebeveynlere ve eğitimcilere gerekse çağdaş çocuk edebiyatı yazarlarına büyük bir rol düştüğü görülmüştür. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Metaphors are a kind of reasoning art that reveals our individual and cultural experiences related to a phenomenon by determining its meaning, structure and essence in our conceptual system. Metaphorical productions are not only a problem of language, they are a means of re-interpreting ourselves, life and the other. They do this by bringing to light our subconscious feelings and thoughts shaped by our experiences and allowing us to reconstruct that phenomenon. Metaphors, which have been used as an effective data collection tool in many disciplines such as psychology, sociology, literature and linguistics, have also started to be widely used in educational sciences. In this study, it was aimed to determine the students' perceptions of fairy tales, one of our oral cultural products, through metaphors. Within the framework of this purpose, the metaphors that middle school students have for the concept of "fairy tale" were divided into conceptual categories according to the students' justifications and the different and similar points of the perceptions were touched upon according to the type of participant. Qualitative research methods were used in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data in the study. The analysis of the data was carried out using the MAXQDA program. The study group consisted of 430 students studying at an imam-hatip middle school and an international imam-hatip high school in Konya city center in the 2023-2024 academic year. A form was distributed to the students that included the phrase "Fairy tale is like .......... Because ........." Content analysis was used in the analysis of the collected data. According to the findings obtained through the conceptual categories created, it was determined in the student perceptions that fairy tales are an entertaining educational source that enables students to gain individual and cultural identity, plays an important role in character building, meets their emotional and spiritual needs, provides literary aesthetic pleasure, presents the realities of life in an imaginary world, and it was seen that both parents and educators and contemporary children's literature writers have a major role in students' encounter with the fairy tale genre. | |
