dc.description.abstract19. yy halkların bilincinde önemli bir dönüşüme sahne olmuştur. Bu dönüşüm, savaşların yol açtığı yoksulluk, cehalet ve geri kalmışlığın bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Mısır da bu reformcu eğilimden etkilenen ülkeler arasında yer almış; edebiyatçılar ve şairler, siyasi ve toplumsal gerçekliğin iyileştirilmesi yönünde önemli roller üstlenmişlerdir. Bu isimler arasında yer alan Mısırlı şair Hâfız İbrâhim, halkının meselelerine kalemiyle sahip çıkmış; onların acılarını ve umutlarını dile getirmiş, siyasal ve toplumsal hareketlere destek vermiştir. Bu nedenle, sahip olduğu insani ve ıslahçı bakış açısıyla kaleme aldığı şiirler sayesinde "halk şairi" unvanını almıştır. Çalışma, bir giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde, İngiliz işgali döneminde Mısır’ın siyasi tarihine genel bir bakış sunulmuştur. Birinci bölümde, Hâfız İbrâhim’in doğumundan vefatına kadar olan hayatı ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölüm, sosyal temalı şiirlerin içerik açısından değerlendirilmesine ayrılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise bu şiirler üslup açısından analiz edilmiştir.
dc.description.abstractThe nineteenth century witnessed a significant transformation in the awareness of nations, a change that emerged as a result of the poverty, ignorance, and backwardness caused by the devastating effects of wars. Egypt was among the countries influenced by this reformist tendency, where writers and poets played a vital role in advocating for political and social reform. Among these figures was the Egyptian poet Ḥāfiẓ Ibrāhīm, who addressed the concerns of his people through his writings. He gave voice to their suffering and aspirations and supported political and social movements. As a result, he earned the title "Poet of Society" for his poems characterized by a humanistic and reformist perspective. This study consists of an introduction and three chapters. The introduction provides a general overview of Egypt's political history during the British occupation. The first chapter presents the biography of Ḥāfiẓ Ibrāhīm, from his birth to his death. The second chapter is devoted to analyzing his poems with social themes in terms of content. The third chapter offers a stylistic analysis of these poems.
