| dc.description.abstract | İbn Sina hiç şüphesiz Ortaçağ İslam dünyasının en önemli filozof ve mantıkçılarından biridir. Görüşleri kelamdan tasavvufa bütün İslam düşüncesini derin bir şekilde etkilemiş, hatta belirlemiştir. İbn Sina felsefesinin en önemli taraflarından biri zorunlu ve mümkün varlık arasında yapmış olduğu modal ayrımdır. Esasen ontolojik olmakla birlikte bu ayrım büyük ölçüde mantık ilmi çerçevesinde temellendirilmektedir. Zorunlu ve mümkün varlıklara ilişkin felsefi görüşleri hakkında ülkemizde pek çok çalışma yapılmış olmakla birlikte, İbn Sina'nın modalite ve modal mantığa ilişkin görüşleri çok az çalışılmıştır. Geleneğimizin belirleyici temalarından biri olarak zorunlu ve mümkün kavramlarının mantıksal boyutunu analiz etmeye yönelen bu araştırma İbn Sina'nın temel modalitelere bakışını, modal önerme ve modal kıyaslara ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. İbn Sina'nın eş-Şifâ, en-Necât, el-İşârât ve't-Tenbîhât gibi temel eserlerinde ortaya koyduğu modal mantık anlayışını kaynak alan bu araştırmada, İbn Sina mantığının Yunan ve Arap kaynaklarının tespiti ve orijinal taraflarının vurgulanması hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma, İbn Sina mantığının temel çizgilerini ve onun Aristotelesçi mantık geleneğine bakışını ele alan bir Giriş ile iki bölüm ve Sonuç'tan oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm modal önermelere ayrılmıştır. Burada temel modaliteler olarak zorunluluk ve imkân kavramları ile yalınlık ve bunlardan ortaya çıkan modal önermeler ele alınmıştır. Modal çıkarımlara ayrılan ikinci bölümde ilk olarak modal önermeler arası ilişkiler ve ardından modal kıyaslar incelenmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde araştırmanın ulaştığı veriler dile getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Undoubtedly one of the most important philosophers and logicians of the Medieval Islamic world, Ibn Sina has profoundly influenced and even defined the Islamic thought as a whole including kalam and tasawwuf. The modal classification of entities as 'necessary' and 'possible' constitutes one of most significant part of his philosophy. This classification, though ontological, is essentially based on logic. Ibn Sina's philosophy of the modal concepts of necessary and possible has more adequately been investigated in the recent years, but little work has been done on his modal logic in the country. This research is meant not only to logically analyze Avicenna's stance on the modal concepts of necessary and possible but also to put forward his theory of modal propositions and modal syllogisms. As a work based on Ibn Sina's accounts in his most prominent works, such as al-Shifâ, al-Najât and al-Ishârât wa al-Tanbîhât, it also aims to detect Ibn Sina's Greek and Arabic sources and to emphasize the original aspects of Ibn Sina's theory. The research is composed of an Introduction, two chapters and a Conlusion. The Introduction treats the outlines of Ibn Sina's logic and his attitude towards Aristotelian tradition of logic. The first chapter dedicated to modal propositions deals with the principal modalities of necessity and possibility and the arguable modality of absoluteness. It also tries to analyze modal propositions that have their roots in these modalities. The second chapter dedicated to modal inferences introduces with an examination of the oppositional relations between modal propositions and moves on to a detailed account of modal syllogisms. The conclusion includes outlines of the conclusions this work has attained. | en_US |
