Özet
Toplumsal cinsiyet (gender), biyolojik cinsiyetten (sex) farklı olarak, toplumsal ve kültürel temelli belirlenen ve dolayısıyla içeriği toplumdan topluma olduğu kadar tarihsel olarak da değişebilen “cinsiyet konumu” dur. Toplumsal cinsiyet sadece cinsiyet farklılığını ifade etmekle kalmaz aynı zamanda cinsler arasındaki güç ve iktidar ilişkilerine de işaret eder. Cinsiyet, kadınlarla erkekler arasındaki biyolojik farklılıklardır; toplumsal cinsiyet ise, toplumun bu farklılıkları kültürel ve toplumsal bir sisteme bağlayarak yaptığı şeydir. Dolayısıyla doğuştan gelen kadın ve erkek cinsiyeti ile ilgili özellikler, zamanla, içinde yaşanılan toplumun kültürü tarafından yorumlanarak yapılandırılır ve toplumun kadın ve erkekten beklentileri de buna göre şekil alır. Toplumsal cinsiyeti içinde mayalanıp ürediği siyasi ve kültürel atmosferden ayırarak değerlendirmek mümkün değildir. Toplumsal cinsiyetin oluşmasında din, çeşitli etkenler arasında en önemlisidir. Gerek dinlerin kendi kutsal metinlerinde var olan cinsiyetler arası farklılaştırıcı tutum, gerekse o dinin daha sonraki inananları tarafından yapılan yorumlar toplumsal cinsiyetin din olmaksızın izah edilemeyeceğini gözler önüne sermektedir. Bu çalışma Türkiye’deki sözkonusu tartışmaların bir tasvirini sunmaya çalışmaktadır.
In this study generally it will be handled the definition of social gender, if there is the role of religion to produce and harden the social gender's inequality and the Islamic feminisme statement which struggles by setting out with the assumption that Islam which emerges in a patriarchal environment caused to fall the women to the secondary position. In the west on the contarary of the feminists who, interferes directly with religion as regards both its own and its evolution in historical process, sees the religion both source and the vehicle of patriarchal; the Islamic feminists revised Koran and hadiths again with women's sensitive hermeneutics moving from the thesis that men and women's equality exists in Islam by featuring their religious identity. In this context, in the notification the responses of Islamic feminist statement in Turkey and in the world will be handled seperatelly.
