Air pollution, which has become an environmental problem on a global scale, affects life negatively by growing due to uncontrolled construction and increasing energy requirements in our country as well as in all countries of the world. In order to bring the air quality to levels that will not adversely affect the health of both humans and all other living things that exist in nature, it is necessary to regularly monitor air pollution and take necessary steps to improve it. In the light of the developments in the world of technology, innovations in satellite systems have enabled the active use of satellite images in environmental applications. As a matter of fact, satellite images offer successful solutions in many areas such as monitoring air quality by detecting pollutant parameters and producing thematic maps. In this thesis study, PM10 samples collected from the application area as a result of terrestrial studies carried out on two different dates and two satellite images of Sentinel-2 satellite dated 22.11.2021 and 16.04.2022 were used. In the first stage of the study, thematic maps were produced by kriging method, independent of satellite images and using only PM10 samples. In the second stage, satellite images were corrected radiometrically and the reflection data obtained from the images and PM10 samples were used together. Thematic maps were produced from satellite images by applying the coefficients derived by the multiple regression method to the relevant band combination. The correlation coefficients obtained from the regression analyzes performed within the scope of the application are 0.80 and 0.79, respectively, indicating that sufficient accuracy has been achieved for the study. The results of the study show that PM10 levels in residential areas do not adversely affect human health compared to areas with industrial activities. In addition, it has been determined that PM10 levels are high on the road transport network and in areas with high traffic density. The data obtained as a result of the study were compared with the data obtained from the fixed station of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, tested and interpreted.
