Özet
Haçlılar’ın Urfa, Suriye ve Filistin bölgesinde yaptıkları tahribat ve yıkımlar, işledikleri cinayetler tüm acımasızlığı ile devam etmiş, çok acılar çekilmiştir. Buna rağmen Haçlılar Müslümanlardan üst düzeyde bir emir veya melik esir alamamışlardır. Daha çok Müslümanlar Haçlılardan esir almışlar ve esir edilen Prens, Kontgibi unvana sahip Haçlıların esareti Haçlıları zor durumda bırakmıştır. Esir alınan Frenk soyluları içinde Fransa Kralı IX. Louis gibi üst düzey şahısların, başpiskopos ve patrik gibi din adamların esareti konuyu zenginleştirmiştir. Esir edilen Haçlı soylularının birkaç tanesini istisna edecek olursak, hepsine iyi davranılması da Müslümanların merhameti açısından önemli bir husus olmuştur.
The destructions and depredations of the Crusaders in the Edessa, Syria and Palestinian regions, and the murders they committed, continued with all their ruthlessness and suffered much. Nevertheless, the Crusaders did not receive a high-ranking command or a prisoner from the Muslims. More Muslims have taken captives from the Crusaders, and the prisoners of the crusaders, such as the Prince, the Count, who have been captured, have left the Crusaders in a difficult situation. The French prisoners in captivity were King of France IX. Louis has enriched the captivity of religious men such as high-ranking individuals, archbishops and patriarchs. The fact that all of the imprisoned Crusader nobles would be exempted, and that they were treated well, has also become an important issue for the Muslims' mercy.
