dc.description.abstractAraştırma, coğrafya öğretim metodlarının 2020-2021 online eğitim sürecinde geçirdiği değişikliklerin öğretmen görüşlerine göre incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Ortaöğretim kurumlarında coğrafya dersinde kullanılan metodların, kullanım oranları, kazanımları karşılama düzeyleri, öğrencilerin ders esnasındaki etkileşim ve başarı düzeyleri gibi konular araştırılmıştır. Coğrafya öğretim metodlarıyla ilgili daha önce yapılan çalışmalar incelendiğinde bu metodların neler olduğu veya nasıl kullanıldığıyla ilgili çalışmalar yapıldığı görülmüştür. Fakat 2020-2021 pandemi sürecinde online eğitimde ortaöğretim kurumlarında coğrafya dersinde öğretim metodlarının ne ölçüde kullanıldığı ile ilgili ayrıntılı bir çalışma olmadığı görülmüştür. Araştırma, bu problem durumunun giderilmesi katkı sağlamak ve coğrafya öğretiminde kaynak oluşturması amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında Konya'nın Selçuklu ilçesinde MEB'e bağlı ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan 12 coğrafya öğretmeni ile görüşülmüştür. Öğretmenlerin gönüllü olarak katıldıkları görüşme, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yöntemi ile tarama modeli esas alınarak gerçekleştirilmiş olup betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak elde edilen bulgular yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda katılımcı görüşlerine göre pandemi sürecinde online eğitimde coğrafya öğretiminde kullanılan metod sayısının yüz yüze eğitim sürecinde kullanılan metodlara kıyasla düştüğü ifade edilmiştir. Katılımcılar bu durumun konu kazanımlarının yeterli oranda karşılanamamasına neden olduğu ve öğrencilerin ders başarılarının yüz yüze eğitime göre düştüğü sonucuna varmışlardır. Bu bulgular neticesinde coğrafya öğretiminde az kullanılan metodların öğretmenlere verilecek eğitimle kullanımının arttırılması önerilmiştir. Ayrıca online eğitimde yaşanan sıkıntıların olası bir durumda tekrar etmemesine yönelik öğretmen ve öğrencilerin bilgilendirilmesi ve bu süreçte kullanılan öğrenme kaynaklarının çeşitlendirilmesi yönünde alanda uzman kişiler tarafından çalışma yapılması öneriler arasında sunulmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe research aims to examine the changes in geography teaching methods in the 2020-2021 online education period according to the views of the teachers. Subjects such as the usage rates and the level of meeting the gains of the methods used, the interaction and success levels of the students during the geography courses in secondary education institutions were analyzed. When the previous studies on geography teaching methods were examined, it was seen that there were studies on what these methods are or how they are used. However, it was seen that there were no detailed studies on what extent the teaching methods were used in the geography courses, in online education in secondary education institutions, during the 2020-2021 pandemic. The research was carried out in order to contribute to the elimination of this problem and to create a resource in geography teaching. Within the scope of the research, 12 geography teachers working in secondary education institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, in Selçuklu district of Konya were interviewed. The interview, in which the teachers participated voluntarily, was carried out with the semi-structured interview method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, based on the scanning model, and the findings were interpreted using descriptive analysis and content analysis techniques. As a result of the research, it was stated that the number of methods used in geography teaching in online education during the pandemic decreased compared to the methods used in the face-to-face education, according to participant opinions. The participants concluded that this situation led to the fact that the subject gains were not met sufficiently and the course achievement of the students decreased compared to face-to-face education. As a result of these findings, it was recommended to increase the use of less used methods in geography teaching with teacher training. In addition, it is recommended to carry out studies by experts in the field to inform teachers and students and to diversify the learning resources used, in order to prevent the problems experienced in online education from recurring in such possible situations.en_US
