| dc.description.abstract | Evreni ve ondaki düzeni bir amaç ve yaratıcı doğrultusunda açıklayan teleolojik kanıtın 19. yüzyılda Darwin teorisi ile birlikte yaşadığı kırılma ve güç kaybı teizm üzerinde olumsuz bir etki bırakmıştır. Özellikle Darwin’ci teoriye dayalı mekanik ve natüralist dünya görüşleri, teizme alternatif açıklamalar olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonrasında teleolojik kanıtı yeniden ele alarak farklı biçimde formüle eden ve ampirik bir karakter kazandıran Tennant, daha geniş teleoloji olarak adlandırabileceğimiz “Kozmik Teleoloji” yöntemini uygulamıştır. Tennant, insan da dâhil olmak üzere dünyanın nasıl açıklanması gerektiğini gösterirken, doğal teoloji, gözlem ve gerçeklerden hareket etmekte, doğanın sadece belirli alanlarında değil çokluklarında kendisini açığa vuran bir dünya adaptasyonu ortaya koymaya çalışmaktadır. Diğer taraftan Tennant, bu adaptasyonların yaratıcı bir ilke olarak Tanrı’yı işaret etmede makul inançlar oluşturduğunu izah etme çabasındadır. Bu çalışmanın öncelikli amacı Frederick Robert Tennant’ın teleolojik kanıtı nasıl ele aldığı ve hangi temeller üzerinde oluşturduğunu göstermeye çalışmaktır. Tanrı’nın varlığı probleminin a posteriori temelde bir yaklaşım ile izah edildiği Tennant’ın teleolojik argümanına dair edinilen izlenim, Tanrı’nın varlığına dair günümüzdeki bilimsel gelişmelerin neticesinde elde ettiği sonuçlardır. Bu sonuçların zorlayıcı olmaktan çok uyumlu, ikna edici ve makul bir anlayış ortaya koyduğu görülmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The breakage and loss of power that the teleological evidence, which explains the universe and its order with a purpose and creativity, went through with Darwin's theory in the 19th century had a negative effect on theism. Especially the mechanical and naturalist world views based on the Darwinist theory have emerged as alternative explanations to theism. Later, Tennant, who reconsidered the teleological evidence and formulated it differently and gained an empirical character, applied the "Cosmic Teleology" method, which we can call the broader teleology. While Tennant shows how the world, including human, should be explained, he moves from natural theology, observation and facts and tries to reveal a world adaptation that reveals itself not only in certain areas of nature but also in multiplicities. On the other hand, Tennant tries to explain that these adaptations constitute reasonable beliefs in pointing to God as a creative principle. The primary purpose of this study is to try to show how Frederick Robert Tennant handled the teleological evidence and on what basis he formed it. The impression obtained from Tennant's teleological argument, in which the problem of the existence of God is explained with an a posteriori basis, is the results he obtained as a result of today's scientific developments regarding the existence of God. These results appear to be more coherent, persuasive and reasonable than compelling. | en_US |
