dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, otizm spektrum bozukluğu (OSB) olan bireylere, çok basamaklı talep etme becerisinin öğretiminde alternatif ve destekleyici iletişim sistemleri içerisinde yer alan yeni nesil dokunmatik ekranlı konuşma üreten cihaz üzerinden geliştirilmiş akıllı uygulamanın ve bu uygulamayı öğretmek için hazırlanan öğretim paketinin etkililiği incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, kazandırılmak istenen hedef davranış ile bu becerinin öğretiminde kullanılan yöntem, teknik ve araç-gereçlerin etkililiğini belirlemek amacıyla özel eğitim öğretmenlerinden ve ailelerden sosyal geçerlilik verisi toplanmıştır. Araştırma tek denekli araştırma yöntemlerinden denekler arası yoklama evreli çoklu yoklama modeli ile desenlenmiştir. Araştırmaya Özel Eğitim Uygulama Okulu III. Kademe'de eğitimlerine devam eden OSB tanısı almış 16-23 yaş aralığında 3 erkek öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre OSB'li bireylere çok basamaklı talep etme becerisinin öğretiminde alternatif ve destekleyici iletişim sistemleri içerisinde yer alan yeni nesil dokunmatik ekranlı konuşma üreten cihaz üzerinden geliştirilen akıllı uygulamanın ve bu uygulamayı öğretmek için hazırlanan öğretim paketinin etkili olduğu görülmektedir. Üç katılımcı da çok basamaklı talep etme davranışını yiyecek, içecek ve aktivite/nesne kategorilerinde belirlenen ölçüt (%100) ve kararlılıkta öğrenmiştir. Ayrıca beceriyi öğretim oturumları bittikten 1-2 ve 4 hafta sonra da devam ettirebildikleri ve farklı ortam ve materyallere genelleyebildiklerini göstermektedir. Araştırmada yer alan katılımcıların aileleri ve okulundaki özel eğitim öğretmenleri kazandırılmak istenen hedef davranış ile bu becerinin öğretiminde kullanılan yöntem, teknik ve araç-gereçlerin etkili olduğuna yönelik olumlu yönde görüş bildirmişlerdir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler grafiksel ve betimsel analiz yoluyla belirtilmiştir. Konu, bulgular ışığında tartışılmış olup, önerilerde bulunulmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the smart application developed by the new generation touch-screen speech generating device in alternative and supportive communication systems and the effectiveness of the instructional package designed to teach this practice in teaching multi-step demanding skills for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In addition, social validity data were collected from special education teachers and families in order to determine the effectiveness of the methods, techniques and equipments used in teaching this skill with the target behavior to be gained. In the study, single-subject research methods were designed with a multi-subject probing probe between subjects. Special Education Application School III. 3 male students aged between 16 and 23 who were diagnosed with ASD who were continuing their education in the department. According to the research findings, it is seen that the smart application developed through the new generation touch-screen speech generating device which is included in the alternative and supportive communication systems, and the teaching package prepared to teach this practice are effective in teaching the multi-step demanding skills to individuals with ASD. Three participants learned the multi-step demanding behavior in the criteria (100%) and stability determined in the categories of food, beverage and activity / object. It also shows that they can continue their skills 1-2 and 4 weeks after the end of the teaching sessions and they can generalize to different media and materials. The families of the participants in the study and the special education teachers in their school reported positive opinions about the target behavior and the methods, techniques and equipment used in teaching this skill. The data obtained from the research were indicated by graphical and descriptive analysis. The subject was discussed in the light of the findings and suggestions were made.en_US
