Özet
Birinci Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi, olağanüstü şartlar altında 23 Nisan 1920'de açılarak demokrasi ve millet adına büyük bir adım atılmıştır. Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisine katılacak üyeler iki kez seçimle belirlenmiştir. Bu olay Türk inkılabının organı olan ilk Meclisi farklı yapan unsurdur. Olağanüstü yetkilere sahip olan kurucu Meclise, her sancaktan 5 üye seçilerek Ankara'ya gönderilmiştir. TBMM'nin ikinci oturumunda Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, 110 TBMM üyesinin oyu ile Meclis Başkanlığına seçilmiştir. Meclis Başkan Vekilliğine ise Konya Mevlana Dergâhı Postnişi Abdülhalim Çelebi 91 oy ile görevlendirilmiştir. Konya'dan katılan üye sayısı ilk günler 5 kişiyken Mebusan Meclisi'nin kapatılması üzerine temsil heyetinin çağrısına uyan mebusların Ankara'da Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisine katılmaları ile sayısı 10'a çıkmıştır. Meclis-i Mebusan'dan katılan TBMM üyeleri: Mehmet Vehbi Efendi, Yalvaçlı Ömer Vehbi Efendi, Hacı Kurrazade Bekir Efendi, Halil Kazım Hüsnü Bey ve Musa Kazım Efendi'dir. Konya'da yapılan seçim sonucunda katılanlar ise: Abdülhalim Çelebi Efendi, Bekir Refik Koraltan, Hacı Arif Bey, Saatçizade Mehmet Rıfat Efendi ve Hulusi Bey'dir. Vatanın kurtuluşunda Konya'yı temsil eden TBMM üyeleri olarak, hepsi birer Kuva-yı Milliye taraftarı olmuşlardır. Birinci TBMM'de Konya'dan katılan TBMM üyeleri önemli görevlerde yer almışlardır.
The First Grand National Assembly of Türkiye was opened on April 23, 1920, under extraordinary circumstances, and a great step was taken for democracy and the nation. The members who will participate in the Türkiye Grand National Assembly have been elected twice. This event is what makes the first Assembly, the organ of the Türk Revolution, different. 5 members from each sanjak were elected to the Constituent Assembly, which had extraordinary powers, and were sent to Ankara. In the second session of the Türkiye Grand National Assembly, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was elected as the President of the Assembly with the votes of 110 Türkiye Grand National Assembly members. Konya Mevlana Dervish Lodge Postmaster Abdülhalim Çelebi was appointed as the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly with 91 votes. While the number of members participating from Konya was 5 in the first days, the number increased to 10 after the deputies who followed the call of the representative delegation after the closure of the Parliament and joined the Türkiye Grand National Assembly in Ankara. Members of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye participating from the Parliament are: Mehmet Vehbi Efendi, Yalvaçlı Ömer Vehbi Efendi, Hacı Kurrazade Bekir Efendi, Halil Kazım Hüsnü Bey and Musa Kazım Efendi. Those who participated as a result of the election held in Konya were: Abdülhalim Çelebi Efendi, Bekir Refik Koraltan, Hacı Arif Bey, Saatçizade Mehmet Rıfat Efendi and Hulusi Bey. As members of the Türkiye Grand National Assembly representing Konya in the liberation of the homeland, they were all supporters of the National Forces. The members of the Türkiye Grand National Assembly who attended from Konya in the first Türkiye Grand National Assembly took part in important positions.
