Özet
Hz. Peygamberin Hastalığı ve Vefatı başlıklı bu araştırma dönemin detaylarını ortaya koyarak olayların islam tarihi açısından öneminin anlaşılmasına katkıda bulunmayı hedeflemektedir.Araştırmamızda konumuzla ilgili bilgiler büyük ölçüde tarih, siyer ve megâzî kitaplarından elde edilmektedir. Bu kitapların yanı sıra hadis, tefsir ve tabakât türü eserlerin de zengin bilgiler sunduğu anlaşılmaktadır.Araştırmamız neticesinde Hz. Peygamber on üç gün süren hastalığının ardından Rebîulevvel ayının on ikinci günü pazartesi altmış üç yaşındayken vefat etti. İnsanlığa son uyarcı olarak gönderilen Hz. Peygamber de dünyada kendisi için tayin edilen yirmi üç yıllık tebliğ vazifesini yerine getirdikten sonra Rabbine kavuştu.Hz. Peygamber'in hastalığı ve vefatı İslâm tarihi açısından son derece önemli bir hadisedir. Çünkü 23 yıllık davet hayatının sona ermesi ve halifelik kurumunun ortaya çıkmasına sebep olmuştur.
This research under title of ?Illness and Decease of Hadrat Prophet Muhammad (s.a.a.w.)? aims to be understood of the events regarding to Islamic history through explaining details of the period.The concern information at our research is being obtained mostly from historical, siyer (Life of Prophet) and Megazine (Life of Veterans/ghazi) books. Beside those books, it is understood that other works such as hadith, commentary and tabakat books provided rich information.At the conclusion section of our research, we mentioned that Hadrat Prophet Muhammad (s.a.a.w) deceased following his illness for thirteen days (13) in sixty three (63) years old on the twelfth Monday of Rabı-Al Awal (the third month according to the Arabic calendar). The last messenger of Allah, the last Warner of humanity reached to his Allah after performing his declaration duty for twenty three years period that is assigned duty to him in the world.Illness and Decease of Hadrat Prophet Muhammad (s.a.a.w.) is extremely important event regarding to Islamic history. Because ending of his invitation life for 23 years caused to occur caliphate institution.
