Özet
Kendini yenilemeye ve değişmeye adayan Türk toplumu ve sanat ortamı
değişimini sanat eserlerindeki üslup ve içerik açısından da göstermektedir. Bu
değişim ve gelişim sanatçılarında keşfedilmemiş gizemlere doğru ilerlemesine
öncülük etmiştir. Sanat üslubunu pek çok açıdan yenileyen, geliştiren devingen
bir çark içinde betimlemeler oluşturan ressam Erol Akyavaş’ta bu değişimin
içindedir. Sanatçı Akyavaş Ankara'da 1932 yılında doğdu. Güzel Sanatlar
Fakültesinde 1950 - 1952 dönemlerinde, Bedri Rahmi Atölyesi'nde misafir
sanatçı adı altında resim alanın püf noktalarını öğrendi. 1952-53 yılları arasında
Floransa Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi çalışmalarına katıldı. Sanatçı varlığın,
evrenin ve gerçekte olanın gizemini çözmeye çalışırken fotoğraftan mimariye,
matematikten geometriye, felsefeden, tasavvuf ve din bilimlerine kadar birbirini
içeren uzun soluklu araştırmalar yapmıştır. Akyavaş eserlerinde mimarı
üslubundan faydalanmış figür ve mekân kavramlarını sentezleyerek eserlerine
aktarmıştır. Sanatçının var olan sanat anlayışlarından hareketle bir sanat olgusu
benimsemediğini, kendine has, farklı, özgün bir algıyla yerinde saymadan sürekli
değişen hareketli bir olgu çarkında sanatsal yaratmalar meydana getirdiği
görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada Erol Akyavaş’ın yaşamı, sanatsal üslubu ve Türk
Resim Sanatına katkıları araştırılmıştır.
The Turkish society and art environment, which dedicates itself to renewal and change, also shows the change in terms of style and content in works of art. This change and development has led artists to move towards unexplored mysteries. Erol Akyavaş, the painter who renews and develops his art style in many aspects and creates descriptions in a moving wheel, is also in this change. Artist Akyavaş was born in Ankara in 1932. He learned the tricks of painting under the name of a visiting artist at the Bedri Rahmi Atelier between 1950 and 1952 at the Faculty of Fine Arts. He attended the Florence Academy of Fine Arts between 1952-53. While trying to solve the mystery of existence, universe and reality, the artist has conducted long-term researches, from photography to architecture, from mathematics to geometry, from philosophy to mysticism and religious sciences. Akyavaş used the architectural style in his works and synthesized the concepts of figure and space and transferred them to his works. It is seen that the artist does not adopt an art phenomenon based on the existing understanding of art, but creates artistic creations with a unique, different, original perception on a constantly changing, moving phenomenon wheel. In this study, the life of Erol Akyavaş, his artistic style and his contributions to Turkish Painting were investigated.
