Özet
Bu araştırma, 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin dinleme becerilerine seçici dinleme eğitiminin etkisini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma deneysel bir çalışmadır. Bu araştırmada ön test son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2013-2014 eğitim öğretim yılında Karaman il merkezinde öğrenim gören 6. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem olarak Karaman il merkezinde yer alan Makbule Orman Ortaokulundan 57 6. sınıf öğrencisi belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada öğrencilerin dinleme becerilerini ölçmek için bir metin ve uzman görüşü alınarak metne yönelik hazırlanan başarı testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda seçici dinleme eğitiminin dinleme becerisini olumlu ve anlamlı düzeyde geliştirdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Deney grubu öğrencilerinin, hazırlanan sorulara verilen cevaplar doğrultusunda hem toplam puanlarda hem de soru bazında kontrol grubundan anlamlı düzeyde yüksek puanlar alması seçici dinleme eğitiminin etkisini ortaya koymaktadır.
This research was conducted to investigate the effects of selective listening on 6th grade students' listening skills. This paper is an experimental research. The instruments are pre-test and post-test. There are two groups, a control group and an experiment group. The participants are 6th grade students who were studying Turkish lesson in 2013-2014 education year in Karaman. 57 students from Karaman Makbule Orman Secondary School were selected. To measure the listening skills of the students, a text and an achievement test, which was used with the advice of experts, was used in this research. The results revealed that selective listening may have an impact on listening skills. Experiment group students' final points are statistically higher than the other group. It can be concluded that the results are statistically significant.
