dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı okul öncesi eğitimini tamamlayarak özel eğitim uygulama okullarına ve özel eğitim sınıflarına başlayan öğrencilerin yeni okula uyumları için gerekli olan becerileri ve bu dönemdeki geçiş sürecini ortaya koymaktır. Buradan hareketle, özel eğitim öğretmenlerinin özel gereksinimli çocukların okul öncesi dönemden ilkokula geçişlerinin sağlıklı bir şekilde yapılmasını sağlayacak bireyselleştirilmiş geçiş planlarında yer alması gereken, öğrencilerin hazır bulunuşluk becerilerine yönelik ve bu dönemi kapsayan geçiş sürecine yönelik görüşlerin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın modeli betimsel tarama modeli olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılında Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı Özel Eğitim Uygulama Okulu 1. kademede ve ilkokul bünyesinde bulunan özel eğitim sınıflarında eğitim veren özel eğitim öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın örneklem grubunu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmiş olan Konya, Ankara, Aksaray ve Niğde illerindeki Özel Eğitim Uygulama Okullarının 1. kademede bulunan 1. ve 2. sınıfta ve ilkokul özel eğitim sınıflarında görev yapan toplam 434 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “İlkokula Geçiş Becerileri Ölçeği” ve “İlkokula Geçiş Süreci Ölçeği”nden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrenci becerisi ve geçiş süreci ölçeği puan ortalamaları, cinsiyet, görev yaptığı okul türü, yaş, görev şekli ve görev süresine göre anlamlı bir fark göstermemiştir. Özel eğitim sınıfında görev yapan öğretmenler, özel eğitim uygulama okulunda görev yapan öğretmenlere kıyasla istatistiksel olarak anlamlı şekilde daha yüksek beceri ölçeği puanlarına sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin geçiş süreci puanları açısından okul türüne göre anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmemiştir. Araştırma sonucunda İlkokula Geçiş Becerileri Ölçeği ve İlkokula Geçiş Süreci Ölçeği, uzmanların ve öğretmenlerin görüşleri doğrultusunda geliştirilmiş, geçerliliği sağlanmış ve güvenir bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın bulguları, ölçeğin kullanımının öğrencilerin becerilerini ve geçiş süreçlerini değerlendirmede etkili bir araç olduğunu göstermektedir.
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to reveal the skills required for the adaptation of students to the new school and the transition process during this period, after completing their pre-school education and starting special education practice schools and special education classes. From this point of view, what should be included in the individualized transition plans of special education teachers that will ensure a healthy transition of children with special needs from pre-school to primary school is to determine the opinions regarding the readiness skills of the students and the transition process covering this period. The model of the research was determined as a descriptive survey model. The population of the research consists of special education teachers who teach at the 1st level of the Special Education Practice School affiliated with the Ministry of National Education and in special education classes within the primary school in the 2023-2024 academic year. The sample group of the study consists of a total of 434 teachers working in the 1st and 2nd grades and primary school special education classes of the Special Education Practice Schools in the provinces of Konya, Ankara, Aksaray and Niğde, which were determined using the purposeful sampling method. The data collection tool consists of the "Primary School Transition Skills Scale" and the "Primary School Transition Process Scale" developed by the researcher. As a result of the research, student skill and transition process scale score averages did not show a significant difference according to gender, type of school, age, type of duty and tenure. It was observed that teachers working in special education classes had statistically significantly higher skill scale scores compared to teachers working in special education practice schools. No significant difference was detected in terms of students' transition process scores according to school type. As a result of the research, the Primary School Transition Skills Scale and the Primary School Transition Process Scale were developed, validated and found to be reliable in line with the opinions of experts and teachers. The findings of the study show that the use of the scale is an effective tool in assessing students' skills and transition processes.
