Özet
Hacamat veya tıbbî literatürdeki ismiyle kupa terapisi, vücudun belirli bir kısmına negatif basınç uygulama prensibiyle hayata geçirilen geleneksel bir tedavi yöntemidir. Hz. Peygamber'in (s.a.v.) de bu tedaviyi kendi üzerinde uygulatmış ve ashabından bazı kimselere de tavsiye etmiştir. Tezimiz bu konudaki rivayetler, günümüz uygulamaları ve modern tıbbın bulgularını ana eksenine alarak hacamat uygulamasının fıkhî hükmüne ulaşmayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmamız üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde hacamat kavramı, tarihçesi ve tıbbî yönü incelenmiştir. İkinci bölüm konu hakkındaki rivayetlere ayrılmıştır. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise ilk iki bölüm ekseninde hacamatın fıkhî hükmü ve bu hükmün getirdiği sonuçlar incelenmiştir.
Hijama, also known as Cupping Therapy in medical literature, is a traditional treatment method based on the principle of applying negative pressure to a specific area of the body. The Prophet Muhammad also practiced this treatment on himself and recommended it to some of his companions. Our thesis aims to reach a legal judgment on cupping therapy by focusing on the narrations related to it, contemporary practices, and findings from modern medicine. The study is divided into three sections. The first section examines the concept of cupping, its history, and its medical aspects. The second section is dedicated to narrations about the subject. In the third and final section, the legal ruling of cupping therapy and the implications of this ruling are discussed based on the first two sections.
