dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, Öteki etiğinin filozofu olarak bilinen Emmanuel Levinas'ın felsefesinin nasıl ortaya çıktığı, hangi amaç ve doğrultuda ilerlediği ana hatlarıyla ortaya konulmuştur. Etiği ilk felsefe olarak konumlandıran Levinas, geleneksel Batı felsefesinin temel düşünce sistemini oluşturan Ben ve Aynılık kavramlarına karşı Başka ve Farklılığı ön plana çıkararak Başkası'yla, sorumluluk üzerine kurulan, yüz yüze etik ilişkiyi öncelemektedir. Bu doğrultuda Levinas'ın Edmund Husserl'in fenomenolojisinden ve Martin Heidegger'in ontolojisinden ayrıldığı noktalar değerlendirilerek Başkalık kavramını nasıl ele aldığı irdelenmiştir. Etik alandan politik alana geçişi sağlayan Üçüncü kişi ve beraberinde ortaya çıkan adalet kavramı, Emmanuel Levinas, Immanuel Kant ve Jacques Derrida'nın konukseverlik anlayışları ile birlikte incelenmiş, çağımızda da önemli bir problem haline gelen yabancı sorunu ve ırkçılığa bakış ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study puts forward how Emmanuel Levinas' philosophy, who is known as the philosopher of the ethics of the Other, emerged, and in which aim and direction it progressed in general. Levinas, placing ethics as a philosophy first, prioritizes faceto-face ethical relationship with the Other based on the responsibility by emphasizing the Other and Diversity as opposed to the concepts of Self and Sameness which create the foundation for the main system of thought in the traditional Western philosophy. In this direction, how Levinas dealt with the concept of the Other is examined by analysing the aspects where he is differed from Edmund Husserl's phenomenology and Martin Heidegger's ontology. The third person that enables the transition from the ethical area to the political area and the concept of ''justice'' that follows it is analysed along with the hospitality perceptions of Emmanuel Levinas, Immanuel Kant and Jacques Derrida. Additionally, an insight into the problem of foreigner and racism which are an important concern of our age is aimed to be put forward.en_US
