dc.description.abstractOsmanlı Devleti’nin klasik döneminde hukuk eğitimi medreselerde yapıldı. Medreselerin hukukçu yetiştirmede yetersiz kalması ve Tanzimat sonrasında hukuk alanında başlayan yenilik hareketleri, değişen ve yenilen hukukun uygulanmasında mükellef kişilerin yetiştirilmesi gereği, formel hukuk eğitimi verecek mektebin kuruluşunu sağladı. Osmanlı yargı teşkilatındaki yenilikler ve eğitimde modernleşme çabaları da hukuk mektebinin açılışında önemli rol oynadı. Yüksek öğrenim seviyesindeki ilk hukuk mektebi Mekteb-i Sultani bünyesinde kurulan Mekteb-i Hukuk-ı Sultani’dir. 1880 yılında ise Adliye Nezareti’ne bağlı olarak Mekteb-i Hukuk-ı Şahane açıldı ve bir süre sonra bu iki okul birleştirildi. Hukuk mektebi uzun bir dönem Darülfünun’dan bağımsız olarak eğitime devam etti ve nihayet 1909 yılında Darülfünun’a bağlandı.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe law education had been trained in madrasahs, in the classical era of the Ottoman Empire. The falling down of the madrasahs in providing education to the jurists and the beginning modernization efforts in fi eld of law and also the obligation of training people who should apply the changing and renewing law, had provided the establishment of the school that presents formal law education. The innovations in juridical system and the modernization efforts played an important role in openning of the law school. Mekteb-i Hukuk-ı Sultani was the fi rst law school in the level of higher education which was established as a part of Mekteb-i Sultani. Mekteb-i Hukuk-ı Şahane which was depended on Adliye Nezareti (Ministry of Justice) was opened in 1880, and then, those two schools had unifi ed. The law school continued the education independently from Darülfünun and fi nally from the date of 1909, the school connected to Darülfünun.en_US
