| dc.description.abstract | Likya Bölgesi kentlerinden biri olan Ksanthos, antik dönemden bu yana büyük ve önemli bir kent olma özelliğini korumuştur. Likya Birliği bünyesinde bulunan ve en fazla oy hakkına sahip olan kentlerden biridir. Kentİ.S. 4. yüzyılda Hristiyanlık ile tanışmıştır. 4. ve 6. yüzyıllarda hristiyanlaşan Ksanthos, Likya’nın piskoposluk merkezlerinden biri haline gelmiştir. Erken Bizans döneminde yoğun imar faaliyetleri yapılmıştır. Kentte Bizans döneminde inşa edilmiş olan beş kilise, altı şapel ve iki vaftizhane yapısı bulunmaktadır. Bu yapılara ait olduğu düşünülen mimari plastik eserler tez konumuzu oluşturmaktadır. Kataloğumuzda bulunan tüm eserler Ksanthos Antik Kentinde bulunan eser deposunda bulunmaktadır Kentin eser deposunda Bizans dönemine ait olduğu düşünülen, 58 adet litürjik, 13 adet mimari ve 157 adet diğer parçalar olmak üzere 228 mimari plastik eser tespit edilmiştir. Bunlar kendi içerisinde kullanım amaçları ve işlevlerine yönelik olarak on bir ayrı başlık altında incelenmiştir. Kataloğumuzda 117 adet levha, 3 adet levha yanı uygulaması, 4 adet ambon levhası, 41 adet balüster, 1 adet balüster başlığı, 12 adet sütun ve sütunce başlığı, 15 adet sütun ve sütunce parçası, 6 adet templon arşitravı parçası, 2 lento, 7 friz, 2 söve, 13 altar tablası parçası, 2 konsol ve 14 adet işlevi tespit edilemeyen parça bulunmaktadır Tez konusu kapsamında Ksanthos Antik Kenti deposunda bulunan Bizans Dönemi mimari plastik eserlerinin geneline bakılarak bezeme değerlendirilmesinde bulunulmuş ve grafikler çıkarılmıştır. | dc.description.abstract | Xanthos, one of the cities of the Lycian Region, has preserved its feature of being a large and important city since ancient times. It is one of the cities within the body of the Lycian Union and has the most voting rights. Kent İ.S. He met Christianity in the 4th century. Xanthos, which became Christian in the 4th and 6th centuries, became one of the episcopacy centers of Lycia. Intense reconstruction activities were carried out in the early Byzantine period. There are five churches, six chapels and two baptistery structures built in the Byzantine period in the city. Architectural plastic stone works that are thought to belong to these structures constitute our thesis topic. All the artifacts in our catalog are in the artifact warehouse in the ancient city of Xanthos. 228 architectural plastic artifacts, 58 liturgical, 13 architectural and 157 other pieces, which are thought to belong to the Byzantine period, were identified in the city's artifact warehouse. These are examined under eleven separate title in terms of their intended use and functions. In our catalogue, 117 slab, 3 slab side applications, 4 ambon slab, 41 baluster, 1 baluster head, 12 column and column capitals, 15 column and columnar pieces, 6 templon architrave pieces, 2 lintels, 7 friezes, 2 jambs, 13 altarpiece pieces, 2 consoles and 14 non-functional pieces.
