Özet
Bir dildeki söz varlığının tespit edilmesi o dilde yaşayan unsurların belirlenmesi anlamını taşımaktadır. Özellikle konuşma dilindeki söz varlığının tespitiyle o dili öğrenecekler için sözlü dilde en çok kullanılan kelimeler, deyimler, atasözleri ve ikilemeler belirlenmiş olacaktır. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmada ana dili Türkçe olan üniversite 1. sınıf öğrencilerinin hazırlıklı konuşmalarındaki söz varlıklarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden doküman incelemesi modeli kullanılmış, öğrencilerin konuşmaları kaydedilerek yazıya geçirilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre kız öğrencilerin konuşmalarında toplam ve farklı kelime sayısının daha fazla olduğu, konuşmalarda kelime türü olarak en fazla isimlerin kullanıldığı, atasözü kullanılmadığı, az sayıda ikileme ve özdeyiş kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir.
Identification of vocabularies of people who speaks a language means determination of elements which are living in the language. Especially by identifying of vocabularies in speaking language, words, idioms, proverbs, epigrams and repetitions which are most used in a language will be determined for the people who will learn this language. Therefore, purpose of this study is determination of vocabularies which are in prepared speeches of first-year students at a university whose mother tongues are Turkish. In this purpose, speeches of the students were documented by recording. According to the obtained data, it was observed that the numbers of total and different words in the speeches of girl students were more than the numbers of them in the speeches of the boy students and the most used words in the speeches of the all students were nouns. From the data, it was also understood that, proverbs were not used and there were very few epigrams and repetitions in the speeches of the all students.
