Özet
Bu tez çalışmasında, salgın hastalık modellerinin deterministik yapılardan stokastik diferansiyel denklem temelli yapılara geçişi incelenmiştir. Çalışmada öncelikle, literatürde yaygın olarak kullanılan SI, SIR, SIS, SIRD, SIRS, SEIR, MSEIR, MSEIRS, MSIR, SIRV, SEIRD ve SIUTR gibi deterministik epidemiyolojik modeller teorik temelleriyle birlikte sunulmuştur. Ardından, bu modellerden özellikle SIR, SIS ve SEIR modellerine rastgeleliğin nasıl dâhil edildiği ve stokastik diferansiyel denklem sistemlerinin nasıl türetildiği açıklanmıştır. Tezin uygulama bölümünde, stokastik SEIR modeli için parametre tahmini Maksimum Olabilirlik Tahmini (Maximum Likelihood Estimation, (MLE)) yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen parametre tahminleri ve sonuçlar grafiklerle görselleştirilmiş ve analiz edilmiştir.
This thesis examines the transition of epidemic disease models from deterministic structures to stochastic differential equation-based structures. The study first presents deterministic epidemiological models commonly used in the literature, such as SI, SIR, SIS, SIRD, SIRS, SEIR, MSEIR, MSEIRS, MSIR, SIRV, SEIRD, and SIUTR, along with their theoretical foundations. Subsequently, it is explained how randomness is incorporated into these models, particularly the SIR, SIS, and SEIR models, and how stochastic differential equation systems are derived. In the application section of the thesis, parameter estimation for the stochastic SEIR model was performed using Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method. The obtained parameter estimates and results were analyzed with graphs.
