Özet
Hz. Peygamber, İslâm dini ile ilgili mesajları insanlara ulaştırırken Arap dilindeki edebî üslûpları kullanmıştır. Hz. Peygamber’in kullandığı bu üslûplardan biri olan istifham, asıl itibariyle daha önceden bilinmeyen bir şey hakkında bilgi edinme isteğinin sözlü olarak ifade edilmesidir. İstifhamın önem arz eden özelliklerinden biri de kullanıldığı yere ve amaca göre bazı durumlarda hakiki anlamı dışında kullanılarak mecâzî anlamlar ifade etmesidir. Bu makalede, Arap dilinde hadisin rolü hakkında özet bilgiler verilmekle birlikte, istifham, istifham edatları ve istifham üslûbu konularında belagat ilmi açısından temel bilgiler sunulmuş ve aynı zamanda Buhârî’nin el-Câmi‘us-Sahîh adlı eserinde geçen hadislerden alınan örnekler
eşliğinde istifham üslûbunun, hangi manalarda kullanıldığı izah edilmeye çalışılmış ve istifham üslûbunun belagat özellikleri incelenmiştir.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used literary styles in the Arabic language while conveying messages about the religion of Islam to people. One of these styles used by the Prophet istifham is essentially the verbally expression of the desire to obtain information about something previously unknown. One of the important features of istifham is that it expresses metaphorical meanings by using it other than its literal meaning in some cases, depending on the place and purpose it is used. In this article, along with giving brief information about the role of hadith in Arabic language, basic information about istifham, prepositions of istifham and istifham style is presented in terms of rhetoric, and at the same time the use of istifham style, accompanied by examples taken from the hadiths in al-Câmi'us-Sahih by Bukhari. It has been tried to explain in which meanings it is used and the rhetorical features of the istifham style are examined.
