Özet
يلقي البحث الضوء على شعر ابن الجزري عموما, ويرصد السمات الفنية التي تميز رثاءه خصوصا, على اعتبار الشعر
الذي صدر عن قريحة الشاعر في رثاء بعض الأمراء والأصدقاء كاشفا عن ملمح من ملامح الصراع في العصر العثماني من
ناحية, وعن تطور العلاقات الاجتماعية بين مختلف الأعراق والطوائف من خلال رثاء الشاعر لأصدقائه من ناحية أخر.
كما يرصد البحث كيفية رسمه لصورة المرثي باعتماد منهج نقدي حديث يستقي أدواته من اللغة والبلاغة, ويعتمد على
الاستقراء والتحليل ورصد الظواهراللغوية التي أسهمت في تمييزرثائه عن رثاء غيرهمن الشعراء
