Özet
Araştırmada, dikkat toplama becerisini geliştirici etkinliklerin içtepisel özellikli okul öncesi çocukların düşünme ve dikkat toplama becerilerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma ön-test/sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmaya okul öncesi eğitim kurumuna devam eden 24 çocuk deney grubu, 24 çocuk kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 48 çocuk dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada okul öncesinde dikkat toplama becerilerini geliştirici eğitim programı, haftada 5 gün olmak üzere toplam 8 hafta uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Kansas Okul öncesi Çocuklar İçin Düşünsellik-İçtepisellik Ölçeği A Formu ve Beş Yaş Çocuklarının Dikkat Toplama Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, deney grubu çocukların kontrol grubu çocuklara göre daha az hata yaptıkları ve daha fazla dikkat toplama becerisi puanlarına sahip oldukları bulunmuştur.
This study investigated the effects of attention developing activities on impulsive preschool children's reflection and attention gathering skills. The study was conducted by using the experimental model with a pre-test/post-test control group. A total of 48 children who attending pre-school institutions were include in this study, 24 being in the experimental group and 24 being in the control group. In this study used the attention gathering skills education program in preschool. The training program used in the study was applied for totally 8 weeks (5 days in a week). In the study, Form A of Kansas Reflection-Impulsivity Scale for Preschoolers and Attention-Gathering Skills Test for Five Year Old Children were used as data collection tools. As a result of the study, it was determined that children in the experimental group made less error compared to children in the control group and they had higher scores of attention skill.
